100% Amarillo-Hopped DIPA
It is said that Revenge is a dish best served cold, though perhaps the best Revenge is success. And sometimes success can be on the primal level of living, surviving and thriving. This Double IPA brewed with floral and citrusy Amarillo hops is also a celebratory toast to to all who have gone through challenges and hard times, which is also to say a toast to everyone. May the road, and the beer glass, rise to meet you.

Bomber from Hops & Bottles. Bright, clear golden, skin of head. Fruity, hoppy aroma, resin. Taste is smooth and oily, earthy, piney, hoppy without the overkill. Gentle for a DIPA.

Picked up a bomber from the MB Liquors cooler on 5-17-19 for $4.99. Bottled on 2-27-19; consumed on 5-21-19.
Beer poured golden with a nice white head with the original pour.
Nose is quite nice, fresh orange and grapefruit abounds with some hints of mango.
Taste is fresh orange and grapefruit forward over a large but light malt base. Finish is a nice herbal earthy mild bitterness; 6/10 on the bitters scale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and very refreshing for a large beer format.
Overall i just love RB brews, so light and flavorful - very similar to my Arizona favorite Tombstone!

This is really good - pours a clear medium gold color under a coupla fingers of off-white foam... Big floral citrus character, with a pine-like shellac of bitterness... Medium-feel, smooth, little bit of tack on the finish, along with some bittering resinousness... Really nice beer...

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high off white head that died down but left a think head covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of orange citrus are present in the nose along with hints of floral hops.
T: The taste has flavors of orange hops along with notes of grapefruit and hints of floral hops, the latter of which become stronger as the beer warms up. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The taste of this beer has a nice balance between the citrus and floral hops once it warms up. Any traces of alcohol are well hidden from the taste.

Poured from a bottle , a clear coppery color with thick white head leaving lots of bubbly lacing. Nose is mild floral hops with hints of fruit. Taste is a bit more than the nose , very smooth and easy. Excellent showcase for the amarillo hops.

Pours crystal clear amber gold, nice finger+ head, very good retention, good amount of lacing.
Aroma of oranges, melons, and floral hop notes. Nice but a bit light on the intensity level.
Taste is stronger but still more like a regular IPA, follows aroma but with more emphasis on the floral notes.
Feel is superb, medium with great carbonation, good body, pretty low bitterness, clean finish.
Overall, this one is at the back of the Revenge series. Top quality feel, but I guess the single-hop Amarillo profile isn't for me, not near the levels of the Mosaic and Simcoe Revenge brews. Still, I drank this after having a different brewery's WC-DIPA and it's just noticeably on a higher level than most out there.
