Break the flavor fever with a crisp, happily hoppy easy-drinkin’ IPA. Just the right amount of Citra and Galaxy hops bring to mind tangelo, guava, pineapple and passion fruit.

So I dunno about all these entries, untappd has some skunkworks 7.5 for this, here its 6.5% abv, and right on the front of my can is 5% abv. So this is a review for that 4 pack of 5% alpha point.

Pours a golden yellow color with ample clarity and 1/3" white head. Really dug the hop aromatics here. Pineapple, papaya, passion fruit, tangerine, orange, brings the stuff in terms of hop aromatics.

Taste is one of those super easy drinking bangers. Very light body but the hop bitterness is subdued without going the hazy route. This is like a very well hopped blonde ale. That is how light and session like the body is. Citra seems to push the hardest of the hops, there is a sweet orange grove going on alongside a fractal grain body. Plenty crisp. 16oz disappears before you know it.

For whatever reason I've only seen this beer in cans once. No one talks about it, but there are now multiple hoppy Revision beers at session strength that are truly elite, first tier stuff.

a delicious and crisp clear ipa from these guys, unexpected as everything seems to be trending hazy lately, but i was pleased with the attention to detail and level of refinement in this one, and ill never complain about galaxy and citra together, a killer duo in most hoppy beer contexts! golden yellow and high headed from the can, tons of bubbles, a strong dry hoppy aroma with just a little fruity ester to it, some pear, green grape, green apple, and honeysuckle to me, but also pineapple, meyer lemon, and cantaloupe. less of the lime than i usually get from galaxy, more of a general tropical and melon bouquet, freshness of the charts, and just a little bit of bitterness to help it finish, but this is mild and drinkable by any standard, especially for an ipa. all the bubbles and the dryness are awesome, the hops climax late but do not linger long, and i get a subtle almost belgian note in here for a second, not that its got an intentional fermentation characteristic or anything, but there is a little something here that either comes from the hops or flatters them uniquely, very late and very minimal. clean overall, cool mix of hop flavors from these two varietals, and overall a beer i wish i had a bunch more of in the fridge. its rad they can do clear beer this well too!

16oz canned 8/26: served in a snifter; beautiful clear straw with a creamy white head; nose of pineapple and citrus fruit, dank and resiny; malt balances well with sweetness; low bitterness; clean; crisp; floral; dank.

Draft at the Taphouse. Pale golden, clear, light creamy head. Aroma and taste feature a nice balance of malts and hops, with the hops edging out the malts by a hair. Crisp and clean.
