Pours a dark golden slightly leaning into a light amber color. 1/2" white head. Its a hazy body appearance. Aroma of scurvy fighting citrus. You know, lemon, lime, orange. Pine is present. An herbal aspect that could be from Eukanot or CTZ. That green spice rack.
Taste was a vegetal hop presence that delves moreso in green characteristics than it does fruity ones. Mouth feel was indicative of or ironically along the lines of a burning, almost Sabro hop like sensation. Moteuka is probably the source of this green alfafa meets bellpepper kind of agrihopbusiness. The mouth feel on this isn't up to the usual high standads for Revision DIPAs. Has a bit of a well, burn. Both alcohol heat, bitterness, peppery vegetalness, all of which amplify the other I'm sure. Is it a flaw? No. It just isn't as dope as many others they make. Its not like its that 3x suckafish level of heat. that was a hot one.
I'm sure there's a backstory. I'm guessing a hop contract went south. Anyways, this beer in summation brings a more abrasive hop and alcohol quotient than most in the hazy format or otherwise in Revision's portfolio.

16oz crowler from Handlebar. Hazy golden, fine foamy head. Aroma is dank, citrus, orange peel. Taste starts with a bit of heat, surprising for an 8% beer. Big dank, herbal notes. Finishes sticky, dry and bitter.

Can poured into a Revision Brewing Co beer glass
A: Pours golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and leaves some thick lacing.
S: Spicy pine, citrus, tropical and stone fruit, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness. Not to sound too vague, but good and hoppy.
T: Pine, peppery spice, citrus, lemon, lime, grapefruit, and a little orange, some fruity notes hiding in the background, apricot, mango, papaya, and passion fruit, hints of berries and melon, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, a little creamy.
O: I'm enjoying this one. Really drinkable; you can tell it's got a little NE influence, but there's still plenty of edge.
It's kinda funny; going just off of what hops were used, I figured I'd like Release 1.0 better, but this one blows it out of the water. Good stuff!

16oz brewed in February into a Sam Smith nonic.
A: Soft hazy lemonade, large white head fizzles and doesn’t lace all that well.
S: Floral and hoppy, rose petal and lemon/lime, stone fruit, moderate earthiness.
T: Slightly different than the nose as this leans more piney/zesty/lemony bitter with soft stone fruitiness here as well. Not extremely bitter at all, nice moderate crispness.
MF: Medium fluffy body with lower/medium carbonation and some dryness on the finish.
O: A solid NEIPA worth trying. Not explosively fruity, juicy, or tropical, but should make more traditional IPA fans a little happier than most trendy NEIPA.
