16oz can from Hops and Bottles. Milky, hazy pour, finely beaded head. Light grassy, citrusy aroma. Taste is a beautiful bittersweet flavor, grapefruit, orange, lemon grass with an assuming bitterness that still grabs a hold of your palate and lingers. Very approachable

We're really starting to jump into these covid reaction marketing beers now that we're up to June 2020. Do the thing, say the cliches, obey.
Pours a hazy yellow, bright in stature, 1/2" white head. The aroma has a mild amount of Mosaic (for Revision), and seems to lean more on (or have on display) the Cascade. I'm getting plenty of grapefruit rind and a very mild amount of weed and tropical fruit.
Taste is decent, the Mosaic is hitting a little better giving off notes of papaya, mango and guava alongside the grapefruit rind and pine notes going on courtesy of the Simcoe and Cascade bittering hops. The body is kinda trubby/starchy as a lot of the lesser hazy ipas will do. Some bitter grassy notes. Light burn or sting could be a combination of vegetal hops, alcohol and bitterness. Not problematic. Could use a higher degree of carbonation.
I think its funny when the industry packages the same beer for different marketing purposes, or even when they slightly tweak it. Something is beautiful, no?

Canned 05/22/20
Appearance - Pours and mild a yellow-orange in color with a white, quarter-finger width head that displays sub-par retention before dying to a thin, broken layer of surface suds. A few broken lines and small spotting make up a minimal lace.
Smell - Yeasy and citrusy aroma. Hints of tangerine, orange and grapefruit.
Taste - Follows the nose. Mild, juicy citrus notes of orange, white grapefruit and a hint of tangerine. Trace of mango. Finish adds a very light, pithy bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair, lightly tingly carbonation. Slick, smooth drinker with a refreshing finish.
Overall - Pretty tasty brew, and a great cause for which it was brewed, supporting our healthcare workers in a time of need.

Poured from a can -murky and turbid dirty lemon yellow color with big foamy head leaving lots of foamy lacing. Nose is mostly muted citrus. Taste steps the citrus up a notch with hints of malty sweetness. Finish is on the slightly tart and almost dry side. A decent effort for a decent cause. $12 a 4pak @ Costco.

16oz canned on 5/15, into an IPA glass.
A: Pours a hazy sunset gold with lots of white head and good lacing.
S: Hits with citrus and tropical fruit notes, familiar and fairly bright...pineapple, papaya and mango, spices, tangerine, green dankness, sweet orange, sweet grainy malt.
T: Tropical and citrus fruit purée, OJ and pineapple, some weedy dank notes in the middle of the palate with some notes of earthy spice, light-to-medium bitterness, underlying notes of a grainy/crackery malt base, hints of sweetness interwoven into the palate.
MF: Smooth fluffy body. Drying finish.
O: A good NEIPA. Recommended. Not completely unique but certainly well-executed.

really tasty new one from these guys, super fresh and juicy. mentions other half on the can, not sure if its a collaboration or just a charity effort like the sierra nevada fire one last year. either way its cool, and since ive called these guys the other half of the west, it makes sense. whitewashed looking pale straw color, incredibly fizzy and alive, which i love in a northeast style ipa, and a shaving cream thick white head with lace as it drinks. aroma and flavor suggest mosaic, canned pineapple, green grape pulp, and tangerine, really appealing, really fresh. mosaic cant be all though, a little weed character to it as well, and some kind of generic fruit punch character, almost a berry thing, especially as it warms. it seems kind of other half-esque to me, fuller feeling, wheaty and maybe oaty, starchy and bigger, but dry and fast finishing even though its sort of creamy. the hops are packed in tight here, but its never green or over dry hopped to me, and the proportions seem right on. the execution is exceptional, the hop profile is great, white life savers and fresh grapefruit as it warms, not quite nothing from the yeast either. really solid beer, good cause, thankful to have found this one for my weekly dose of revision!
