1st review of this beer on BA. I guess Revision had some excess Galaxy hops and decided to make a one off, because I haven't seen it since. Crowler of it is the format.
Pours a sexy massive clarity golden color. This is my jam. 1/2" white head. Fits the stereotype, plenty of pineapple & pine in the nose from the Galaxy hop.
Taste follows what one would expect after seeing the appearance and smelling the aroma. A nice honey and pale malt toasted to drying perfection, crisp mouthfeel, and continual waves of pine and pineapple taste wise. Single hopped beers are so good when trying to pin down hop characteristics (that often overlap) and when its done on such a simple, yet effective malt body, you really get the chance to get familiar with the Galaxy hop here better than almost anywhere else. Even though its plenty crisp and dry, there isn't a big bitterness bite, its nice and moderate, better and bigger than gloop glop haze trub, but staying away from triple IBU wars levels as well.
