Creativity can be seen as free expression of the soul, and luckily for us all, Moksa Brewing’s artistic medium is beer. Combining minds and love of a tasty beverage, we present Mauistli (Nahuatl for “from the soul, truth and universal loving way”) a delectable and decidedly drinkable West Coast Double IPA. Resiny hop goodness bursts forth with huge tropical notes bringing to mind mango, tangerine, passion fruit and pine thanks to Strata, Simcoe, Citra and Mosaic.

Pint can poured at fridge temp into a snifter.
Pours pale gold, nice foamy head.
Smells piney, fruity, sweet.
Taste follows. This is good stuff. It’s juicy and hoppy, the 50 IBUs bring a bitterness on the finish I appreciate.
Feel is medium, rich enough to bring nice lacing throughout the drink.
Overall, a tasty DIPA that is really drinkable and satisfying.

Here's one from the end of Summer '21, poured into an old Stone Ruination pint glass.
Pours a beautiful golden color with impeccable clarity and 1" of white head. If Budweiser made an imperial ipa, it would look this good. There's no joke there, Bud is one of the most consistent and clean looking beers out there. This is just perfection appearance wise. The aroma is quite nice with like 4 different hop varieties, 3 of which are aroma hops. Usual tropical citrus combo of Mosaic and Citra, been done a million times because its really good. Strata to just drape some lighter berry, stone fruit and different weed strain notes. Sometimes the hops step on each other, but here they seem to provide from their own lane.
Taste is a nice light grain and grist meets big time hop volume. Mouth feel so dry and fine. Amazing how damn easy they make 8.5% go down. Stern Simcoe giving the right bitterness and firmness. Still finding all those fruity notes now binding with golden waves of grain, apricot, weed, tangerine, mango, papaya you dig it the most.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear golden pour with a thin, patchy head, active carbonation. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, citrus oil. Taste is zesty orange peel, body is thick, sticky. Mouth coating. Overall light on the palate.

Can poured into a Revision Brewing Co Wili Becher pint glass
A: Pours golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Spicy pine, citrus, light tropical and stone fruit, slight herbal notes, biscuity bready malt, and a touch of sweetness.
T: Citrus, grapefruit, lemon, lime, and tangerine, spicy pine, tropical and stone fruit, passion fruit, mango, apricot, peach, papaya, and a hint of melon, subtle grassy herbal notes, biscuity malt, and a touch of sweetness.
M: Just a touch one the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Crazy crisp and crushable for an 8.5% DIPA. Really enjoyed this one.

Pretty much just what I remember, but with a the grassy herbal slightly dank side more prominent up front. Good stuff.

Clear pale yellow-gold with plenty of foam in the Stella Artois goblet. Plentiful spritz on the tongue. A bit sharp but so fragrant. Aroma of orange and grapefruit peel, pine, and a wiff of alcohol. Flavors of malt with orange marmalade and some lime.
This is a less sweet big hoppy brew. Clean and rich and a pleasure to sip. Aftertaste is bitter but full of citrus. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. The label is an unrelenting mystery.

Can pour- crystal clear medium gold straw color with frothy white head leaving scattered lacing. Nose is extremely mild with scant tropical fruit and an underlying sweetness. Taste ups the game a bit with more fruit and a hint of pine. Finish leans toward dry. A collaboration with Moksa Brewing, overall is more subdued than expected considering the inclusion of Strata, Simcoe, Citra and Mosaic hops.
