At $8/4 pack pint these are a no brainer to pick up in the warmer months.

Pours that straw yellow familiar to light beer. Its not quite as clear as the big BMC boys, but it still looks clean, 1/2" white head. Light aroma of corny barley, miniscule lager. Just airy. You know the drill on the aroma, its pretty close to nothing.

Taste is much the same way, sometimes you just want a beer to drink without being able to taste too much regarding the "beer" qualities or ingredients. There is a light grain aspect, virtually no hop aspect despite having the bittering result from hops. Its overall pretty clean, minimalistic and actually comports with the marketing tug job as being "uncomplicated" as branded. Carbonation is high, but its supposed to be.

If we're being fair, this is an above average light beer. Not sure if its cut with corn, but its got that vibe.

new one from these guys, or at least new to me, this is the first i have seen of it, and i almost missed it at the store, it looks like a cheap light beer, just in a pint can, the label brings elements of bud light design, busch light, even blue light, so it doesnt look craft at all, kind of sneaky. the label calls it uncomplicated, and i think thats a good way to put it. it doesnt smell or taste too interesting or nuanced, but its also not presenting itself to me as cheap at all, despite the can and the super reasonable four pack price. its really light to drink, and not totally boring either. in a beer this minimal i appreciate the cleanness, like the ferment is almost invisible from a flavor standpoint but the beer is dry, without plastic or metallic character, and quite well refined in the traditional sense. the carbonation is uplifting and the body is light, so this is a total pounder. the flavor is driven by a real light cereal grain profile, pale two row might be all, maybe a little corn, its not adjuncty to me though. no real hops on the finish at all, not even in a bittering capacity, but i am finding myself enjoying the lightness and mindlessness of a beer flavored beer, and i reckon its pretty well done for what it is, mission accomplished. a little cheeky with the packaging, but there is room in craft for lagers like this, make no mistake about it. four pack disappeared pretty fast...
