cool idea here, a collaboration with a bunch of boise area bars for the treefort music festival, a hazy ipa thats fresh and delicious, cashmere driven to me, but with citra and simcoe in the mix too, lighter to drink than a lot of their other hazy ones, i enjoyed this quite a lot. super pale yellow colored beer, creamy headed from the tap, high carbonation evident, fully hazy, but not sloppy or too thick looking to me. fresh coconut flesh, meyer lemon, and lemongrass in the nose, some sweet orange peel and a little herbal bitterness in the flavor, super juicy, tropical, fresh, and bright, nothing green or overdone here, good balance from dry starchy grain, and a very tidy ferment, darn near bone dry. i get more of the citra as it warms, some melon character too, and maybe a little peach nectar in the middle. this seems especially well refined, even for revision, and drinks soft and easy, with effervescent carbonation and obvious freshness. a really good ipa here overall, these guys continue to find ways to get new flavors and experiences out of familiar hop combinations, and they have done it again here. fun idea for a beer to bring in some bars to collaborate with, and the result is awesome. great stuff here!
