Packaged 1/21/26 Poured at 46 degrees.

Look: Clear bright yellow with a medium white head that has rather shoddy retention and leaves slight lacing.
Smell: Very faint citrus.
Taste: Delightful citrus bitterness with a good malt finish.
Feel: High in the mouth and coarsely carbonated.
Overall: A clean old-school IPA. Not a bitter West Coast brew like it’s branded, but I already knew from previous experiences that these haze bros couldn’t make a proper WC-IPA. Smell is nearly non-existent and the feel isn’t great, but the taste is very nice. Drank it before drinking an Emerald Bay IPA and I definitely thought The Bird was tastier. I’d recommend trying this one.

Pours a clear yellow with thick, fluffy head.

Smell is fruity and a bit dank with notes of citrus, pine, melon, peach and lemongrass.

Taste is fruity and dank with a solid bitterness. Notes of citrus, pine, melon, peach and grass.

Mouthfeel is medium, sticky and well carbonated.

Overall, a very nice, balanced west coast IPA.

On tap at the source and from a can- clear golden color with short white head leaving moderate lacing. Nose is citrusy and slightly dank. Taste follows with hints of sweet malt, very mild bitterness and tropical fruit. Very tame on the scale of west coast style IPA's.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Pale, clear golden; thin, fine head. Aroma is hoppy, resinous, citrus oil. Taste is toned down a bit, sweet, bready malts with a touch of citrus and light hoppiness. Mouth coating, dry.

West Coast in the new-school fashion; clear, golden pour from the 16oz can, frothy white head; sweet, fruity aroma of hops and balance, low-to-no bitterness, the fruity notes consisting of pineapple, apricot, berries, dankness. Easy to drink, well-executed, if fairly unremarkable. These types of West Coast IPA's are becoming nearly as prolific as hazy IPA's...I exaggerate, but this style is becoming its own category. New school West Coast, minimal pine and bittering dryness, fruity hops in a sweet-leaning, easy-drinking package.
