motueka based ipa, lower bitterness but also clearer and simple on the grain side, one of the lighter and more straightforward ipa types ive had from revision, also seems like the rate of new stuff coming through boise from these guys has really slowed down, used to be insane, now its just a trickle, but i was glad to see this on tap, and the hop profile is delicious, the beer is very fresh, and this is an easy and repeatable pint. golden blonde, radiant in the glass, high shine with an average white head. the nose here is green melon, kiwi fruit, pineapple rings, and peach candy, motueka for sure, but i get a little citra type thing too, lemongrass, cut flowers, and lemon curd. the flavor is similar on the hop side, definite ripe melon through the whole thing, a little key lime, but also very light on the malt, off dry but without any toasted depth or fuller weight to this, its very light to drink. this is slightly oily in feel, nicely carbonated, relatively low bitterness, and on the whole quite simple, even basic compared to a lot of their hoppy beers, but this is definitely a less is more thing, and its one of the more drinkable ones they do, rightly and cleverly named, i could chug these. super fresh, clean on the ferment, and with a nice classic new zealand hop complexion. well done on the quality side. cant wait to visit revision again later this month!
