This West Coast-style IPA has a hop profile that jumps right in with punchy aromatics providing heavy citrus and sweet tropical notes while remaining light-bodied and balanced with a pleasantly soft bitterness. Realm Warp into a hop blend of Citra, Galaxy, HBC 586, and Citra Incognito. It’s worth hitting pause to take a sip.

Brewed in collaboration with GameCraft Brewing.

Here's another intellectual property grab at nostalgia, via Super Mario Brothers. Pours golden yellow and clean/clear into a 1994 Marquette jersey pint glass. Perfect 1" white small bubbled head on the top. Tight. I guess this is a collaboration with "gamecraft" brewing, but I've never heard of them.

Aroma checks a bittering hop without using a bittering hop per se. Neat. Little hits of orange, pineapple, grapefruit, pine, strawberry (cough), a well rounded nose.

Taste brings the typical minimalistic 2 row and possibly pilsner malt to the table. Through there the various hops continue to push a consistent citrus and tropical flavor profile. Some orange and guava. The mouthfeel is crisp, light, dry, the industry standard in terms of west coast ipa. They are a fun drink. Revision probably makes three dozen similar beers to this one. I get it, gotta keep the lights on. Important thing is they are almost always good in the sweet part of the city.

Picked up a 16 oz can from the Craft Beer Hop Stop in Phoenix 3-20-23 for $4.24. Canned 2-28-23; consumed 3-23-23.

Beer poured a pale gold with a nice white head.

Nose has notes tropical and citrus fruits.

Taste is a lighter pale malt base that is exposed by alpha galaxy hops which give a gooseberry flavor and bitterness. There is a touch of orange and mango but are strictly background. Finishes with a rind bitterness; 7/10 on my scale.

Mouthfeel is very light and as a result very refreshing.

Overall a nice WCIPA style beer. Interesting how different the current take is on this style!
