for awhile there i feel like i was drinking new beer from revision a couple time a week, but there momentum and range has really stalled here in boise, its rare to see new ones in the wild, something must have changed on the business side, a total shame, the search for new revision cans with my mask and gloves on in early covid is a memory i will always have, and boy did i drink a lot of revision during covid times. anyway its almost nostalgic to find new ones anymore, granted i had this one in reno, but still i was pumped. not necessarily a revolutionary hop combo here, citra, mosaic, and amarillo, but once again these guys have gotten the most out of these varietals, and this seems quite a bit better than what most others are doing with the same ingredients. pale and gentle looking, a pillowy almost inch of white head on it, fizzy, some density but not mucky. the nose is unique, sort of candied citrus up front, lemongrass from the citra, papaya and juicy tropical character, sweet and oily in the center to me, and then with low but not no bitterness, to my nose less of the mosaic than the others, but good contributions from each in here, familiar grain base, fresh as can be. the flavor follows, citra forward and this is how citra is best to me, with others but still up front, meyer lemon, tangerine, some subtle resinous kick. supporting notes of orange hard candy, green grape, and just some quick late bitterness. smooth but not crazy long its abrupt at the end. drinkable and delicious, fits in nicely with all the others these guys make. i hope they rise up again in boise!

16oz can, new haze from Revision, sits golden in the glass with a crown of white. I feel the Amarillo a bit more in this, which is fun (doesn't seem to be used as much any more), and to me there is a nostalgia to the slightly spicy, earthy and floral notes that combine with a lot of apricot (stone fruit), maybe some melon, grapefruit, and a touch of piney dankness. Creamy and smooth, decent stuff.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Hazy yellow golden, foamy head subsides. Fruity aroma, a real mix of stone fruit, tropical and citrus. I guess that's why they called it chaotic. Taste starts and finishes with citrus zest, in between is apricot, melon and pineapple. Almost had a little dank slip in there.
