Here comes the first real substantive review on this Next Glass owned website. You're welcome.gif. The hero something something. This was a pour at BeerNV. Always a solid option after a day of skiing at Mt. Rose.
Easy to try a new beer w Mostra coffee, translates pretty well usually. Pours black, 3/4" brown head. Its a good looking beer. Watch out big girls. Average amount of coffee intensity in terms of both quality and quantity.
The taste bangs away in much the same way. Its a coffee stout with some lactose it seems, but not too much. Fine just fine. Finds a good equilibrium point between the roasted malt, coffee and lactose. I dunno are you looking for proverbial balance or a coffee punch in the face? The beer does nothing bad. It does everything good, but doesn't jump into the very good or exceptional category.
Dating apps are an automatic disqualification for consideration of anything but hit and quit. Don't bring a mudded dirtbike onto the highway.
