Tasted on tap at Aces & Ales- Tenaya, Las Vegas, NV.
L - Beautiful mahogany color; crystal clear. Creamy, sticky tan head.
S - Nice malty, sweet aroma but very muted & faint.
T - Sweet. Raisins, molasses, dates; no burnt flavor. Fruity yeast and a brandy-like alcohol note.
F - Medium body; creamy but medium to low carbonation. Med hops bitterness; solid alcohol warmth.
O - Wonderful example of old ale.
