Canned 12/19/22. "BLKBERRY JAM" stamped on the bottom of the can
Well it's been a minute, but I'm finally getting back into the beers from my first Tavour box. I have quite a bit of catching up to do, as my second box has been in for the past few days. I tend to be a sucker for blackberry anything, so I rolled the dice and picked up 2 cans of this. Let's crack it open and find out if it was worth it
Pours a mostly clear reddish purple with 2 fingers of soapy pinkish white head that slowly fades to a ring and leaves minimal lacing
The nose is tart with a jammy sweetness for balance, but with an odd earthy character as well. I'm picking up on aromas of tart raspberry, jammy blackberry, lemon zest, sweet vanilla, doughy malt, coriander, and light grass
It's a bit more simplistic in taste, though I'm actually glad the coriander thing is gone. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting jammy blackberry, lemon juice, vanilla bean, bready malt, tart raspberry, light grass, and blueberry. The swallow brings notes of blackberry sorbet, jammy blueberry, vanilla bean, lemon zest, doughy malt, and light raspberry
A medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a tart and crisp beer. Finishes mostly dry with a sweeter edge, but incredibly refreshing for being 8.4%
It's nothing amazing, but it's damn solid if you're in the mood for this sort of thing. The drinkability is the main selling point for me personally

A Tavour Treat. Pours a dark red color with a bubbly head that disappears quickly. Aroma of fruit juice. Taste is quite sour with a sweet finish. Crisp and dry.
