Pint can with 03/0 (illegible print angled across the bottom rim kind of failed date stamp). The look was the highlight, Midnight black with a tan head that was creamy and topped with soapy bubbles. Fine lacing when swirled. Smell? Nearly absent, agree with 'maximum12' pretty much on all of that review. Taste and feel were not great or bad, kind of middling.
O - There's too many great imperial stouts out there to bother getting this one.

Nighttime 16 oz. can while watching my Twins dismember the White Sox for the second night in a row. It’s been a lovely baseball surprise, 2022.
Black & foamy, this brew, with a nose that’s tame to the point of being comatose: a touch of chocolate, roast, & dirty black sand. Meh.
Hipster’s Demise is a dark shadow of its stated ingredients. None come over the top, or even right at you; all are subtle, demure, you-gonna-have-to-try-harder-than-that kinda muck. Coffee is primary but it’s less roast, more grounds, with some sweets (syrup?) & a distinct vanilla smoothness in the finish. The bourbon comes in low & slow, too, soft & gentle. Mouthfeel: pasty stout? Uh-uh. Not even sure you can amp up a milk stout enough to hit pastry. I’d prefer a 12 oz. can.
Ever see 6 Underground? Just like this beer. Disappointing.

Pours dark black with a vigorous three finger head. Aroma is coffee and vanilla. The taste profile reveals maple, coffee and a vanilla follow. The brew, despite its' initial three finger head, seems less carbonated that the head promised. The beer is smooth, fairly balanced and hides it's ABV of 11.5% well.
