Can from last summer on the river. What is yuzu anyways? This came off like a combination of lemon and grapefruit.
Pours light amber out the pint can. I guess I was expecting lighter based on the fruit color on the label. It looks like a hazy amber ipa I guess, which is to say its not all that attractive. The aroma had a light wheat, wild ale and citrus impression.
The taste is just fine, you don't quite hit those lactic wheat notes, everything sourish seems fruit derived here, at least in terms of the perceptible taste aspect, I'm learning something new everyday. The mouthfeel had plenty of citrus acidity but not so much that it was problematic. So we've got ourselves a Spaghetti Western. I enjoyed drinking the beer, but wouldn't go out of my way to have it again either. Found it to be just as much if not more of a wild ale than a berliner weisse.
