I had this beer on-tap in a tulip glass at the brewery in Tempe.
Appearance: rich deep dark brown hue with a finger of tan foam atop. Pretty!
Smell: grainy malt aroma with a dash of yeasty character.
Taste: nutty with plenty of bready, caramel malt, and perhaps the lightest dash of roastiness. The yeasty lagery quality balances this quite nicely. I dig it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess for the style.
Overall: sure, this is a hot Tempe day and any cold beer is welcome. But this is a caramelly, tasty treat nonetheless.
