Lineup's cinco de mayo seasonal. Cerveza brewed with lime. 5%.
Lime is in the taste, certainly, joined by wheat and pilsner malt as well as some Tecate-redolent syrupy malt extract.
Mouthfeel is stale yet smooth and wet. Certainly unrefreshing.
Pretty abysmal work from New York City's newest brewery. It'll take effort to finish a glass of this swill. Oh well, the lime wedge added by the bartender at the brewpub actually helps. Is that really the statement you want to make as a new brewery though? "Our beer needs a lime wedge to taste palatable."
I guess it'd pair well with tacos, so there's that.
