Reviewed from notes. Poured from a 32 oz. swing-top growler filled at the brewery, into an El Catador Barrel-Aged glass.
A: Very, very dark brown and almost opaque. A low amount of visible carbonation and a half-finger's worth of tan head that has good retention. Has some nice lacing along the edges of the glass, especially for a beer with this conservative of an ABV (5.4% according to the growler).
S: Coffee and chocolate, some drying tobacco and roasted malts. A mild lactose sweetness and a bit of vanilla. Not a huge aroma, but nice enough for sure.
T: Milk chocolate and dark chocolate. Lactose sweetness and roasted malts that have a modest coffee flavor. A fair amount of vanilla again that compliments the creamy sweetness. Some roasted bitterness, and maybe a mild hop bitterness as well with some tobacco-like dryness. More dark chocolate bittersweet flavor in the hang. It finishes just on the sweet side of balanced, but definitely nowhere near cloying.
M: Probably an average mouthfeel for the style, but it's nice and thick for the low ABV. The alcohol is well-hidden, and the carbonation sensation is low but as-expected for style.
O: This was a very enjoyable milk stout. Maybe nothing to blow your doors off, but it's balanced and tasty and chocolate forward. Absolutely something I’d grab again if I was in the mood for a milk stout and saw this somewhere. Nicely done. Ratings given are for style - my personal preference likely would be just a bit lower.

I tried this at the brewery with my bro-in-law. It poured an opaque dark with off white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had nice milk chocolate hints. The taste had a was a mix of milk chocolate and vanilla.....very easy to drink. The mouthfeel was medium in body with smooth carbonation. Overall its a very good milk stout.
