I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery with my bro-in-law as part of a six sample flight. It poured a hazy orangish amber with white head that left a very nice lace. The scent had citrus peel notes. The taste had a citrus peel and touch of pine......very easy to drink. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

Canned today at 11:44 according to the stamp on the bottom of the can. Enjoying at 3:30, it doesn't get much fresher than that!
Look, The can is simple with the only graphics being the white with dimple pattern of a quality multi ply toilet paper to memorialize the great Covid-19 toilet paper shortage of 2020. The beer pours a murky orange color with a nice 1/2" head and slight lacing.
Smell is a great mixture of dank, with lime, lemon, orange and honeydew.
Taste follows the nose with a very slight bitter finish. There is a slight hop burn at the end that I am pretty sure will go away with a week or so resting. Not unusual for a super hoppy, super fresh, douple IPA.
The feel is one of the best NEIPAs I have had, smooth, thick and just the right amount of carbonation.
Overall this is fantastic. Lost some points for lacing and a slight hop burn that will probably be gone in a week. Ranks right up there with the super hyped NEIPAs without the lines. I hope Southern Swells stays of the hype radar because I hate lines.
