It’s been a hot minute since we’ve done a coffee beer, let alone a Northern Roots variant with it. Way back when, we used Bold Bean’s Guatemalan Coffee, La Pia, and it was our favorite Bold Brewed we’d made. So naturally, when we were made aware that it was available again, we jumped at the chance to use it for a coffee variant this year. With a soft and juicy acidity along with a caramel, milk chocolate sweetness inherent in the roast, it’s a perfect marriage that really comes out in the finished beer. Enjoy!
