Copious amounts of Citra, Mosaic, and Idaho 7 hit this DIPA with fresh dankness.

A: crystal clear; medium gold in color; 1 finger finely pored ivory head that receded to a wispy cap; nice rings of lace;
S: nicely aromatic - could smell it from at couple feet away; grapefruit and orange, with a bit of pineapple and pine;
T: follows the nose through the middle; a bit of mint gets added in at the end; finish is moderately bitter;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; dry finish;
O: nice to have a DIPA with some bitterness;

Bought a 4 pk with a date code of 1-14-2020.
First one poured a very off color almost grey. Aroma from the can showed promise but this one was pretty bleh, total drain pour. Maybe the others are better but clearly the quality control failed here based on the other reviews. Maybe the others are ok...to be continued....
Other cans were better but still something off. Not sure I will return to this one, I'll stick with Big Whoop

Pours clear, gold in color, with half inch head. Taste is tangerine, apricot, and pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy, moderate carbonation. Huge improvement on regular Doobious. Nice and tangy sipper. Would get this again.

Picked this up at The Wine Cellar in Middletown, CT. Interesting design on the can, it goes with the Bad Sons Brewing brand. Nice golden appearance though I drank it straight from the can so I didn't get a great look and can't comment on the head or lacing. Smells great with pine notes forward and some citrus there too. The taste is citrus peel forward with pine notes present and some faint licorice in the background. Very nice.

16 ounce can, w/o dating info to be had.
Hazed up pour, and leaving low ringed sheeting and fine lacing all over the glass.
Fruity nose with apricots coming to the senses.
Pleasing and fruited up NE style DIPA....dry, flovorful and complex, with notes of more aprcots, limes, grapefruit, some resiny hopsand mild astrigincy in the finish.....bold and well crafted brew...go get some

Got in a trade with brutalfarce. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours very hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. No warming alcohol for 8.4%. Overall this is an excellent DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Awesome Citra, Mosaic, Idaho 7 profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a nice balancing bready wheat/oat/malt malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. Very well attenuated for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive style example.
