A: hazy; medium gold in color; 1 finger finely pored white head that receded to a skim cap; very nice lacing;

S: orange, orange zest, and pineapple;

T: flavor is quite subdued; orange and orange zest from start to finish - just not much of it; mild bitterness at the end;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;

O: what's there in the flavor is fine, but just not enough of it; considering they call this a "dank" IPA, I was disappointed not to get even a hint of dankness;

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a super hazy orange-yellow color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades rather fast leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strong of a sweet tropical fruit aroma of mango and pineapple mixed with smells of herbal hop and a bit of grapefruit and pine. Other aromas of a bready smell and a bit of hay round it all out.
Taste – The taste begins with a rather heavy bready and moderately strong herbal hop flavor paired with a bit of citrus sweetness and hoppiness. Along with these flavors comes a touch of grape and pear as well as a bit of pine and earth. As the taste advances the bready gets stronger, all while the herbal and earthy both grow as well. At the same time the pine and sweet get a touch lighter, and with some light grassy tastes one is left with a rather thick and moderately hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is thick and chewy with a lower carbonation level. A bit too heavy for the more moderate hop flavors, but in line with the bready nature. OK overall.
Overall – OK. For something labeled as a “DANK IPA”, it isn’t really that dank. Just alright.
