Brewed for the first time in the spring of 2017, Geobunny acted as the base for all of our pilot batches throughout the summer. We tested nine different yeast strains, some multiple times, in order to find our ideal complement to the hop varietals we covet. The result is a beer that exhibits the qualities we look for in our favorite beers.

A: hazy; medium gold in color; 1 finger finely pored ivory head that receded to a skim cap; nice lacing;
S: lemon and orange on the first sip; grapefruit with pineapple after that;
T: not as bright as the aroma; muddled citrus from start to finish; mild to moderate bitterness at the end;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: OK, but not something I would go back to;

Draft at Yarde Tavern. Hazy orange golden, small creamy white head, rings of lacing. Fruity aroma, part tropical, part citrus. Taste is blend of tropical and stone fruits, with some citrus zest on the back end.

Look: Peachy orange with moderate haziness. Fluffy white head on top.
Smell: Citrus scent and botanical hops.
Taste: Not very bitter, but hops are present in the taste and aftertaste. A little bit of malt flavor follows.
Feel: Typical of the style, moderate in alcohol and average carbonation.
Overall: A good beer, I would like more bitter hops.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint glass; no production information.
A: Pours a slightly hazy, brass color, somewhere on the amber side of golden, with a one to two finger head, rim plus retention and foamy lacing.
S: Aromas of caramel, light grapefruit, corn (grain), and cocoa.
T: More semisweet than semidry. Palate mirrors the nose. Bitterness light and subtle, leaving a very clean finish.
M: Light bodied with strongly persistent effervescence. Creamy, smooth.
O: A solid, American IPA. Creamy and fun.

A: The beer is slightly hazy pale yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that left specks of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of pears and stone fruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a lot of flavors of stone fruit along with hints fo pears. Little, if any bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and has a low to moderate amount of visible carbonation.
O: This IPA has delicate aromas and flavors of stone fruit and pears, making it unique compared to most of the other beers in the style.
