I am really enjoying my first experience with Nod Hill. An opaque, milky and soft pale gold color. Tall, foamy, bone white head that sticks around the whole time, leaving thick steaks of lacing in its wake. The aroma and flavors are lemon, lime, sweet pine, pineapple, and an earthy herbal note. The flavor follows with a firm bitterness and prominent bready malt profile. Pillowy soft on the palate. Overall, this one will have me coming back for more Nod Hill if I get the chance.

From a 16 oz. can into a Willi Becher style glass, this beer pours out completely hazy and orange with some yellow highlights. It forms two fingers worth of mousse like crown.
The nose brings classic New England style haze notes. A bunch of juicy, citrus and tropical notes. Peach, melon, mango, bubblegum sweetness, grilled pineapple.
The taste brings slight citrus in front of a huge toasted cracker background.
The feel has a surprising bitter kick that makes for the drink to be on the sharper side, instead of smooth. It’s still soft, almost but not quite creamy.
Overall, it’s not a bad drink but the bitterness bite mixing with huge toasted malt background just aren’t mixing as well as they could be.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color and has some whitish hues. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass and small patches of bubbles on the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of honeydew melon are present in the nose along with hints of mango.
T: The taste has flavors of stone fruit along with notes of honeydew melon and hints of pineapple. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied, juicy, and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA is incredibly juicy and has a nice balance between the flavors of stone fruit and melon.
Serving type: can
