Featured Ingredients: English pale, caramel, & chocolate malts, East Kent Goldings & Fuggles Hops, English Ale Yeast
Tasting Notes: Brewed in collaboration with our friends at New England Brewing Co.
Soft toffee, nutty, smooth. Overall this is a lighter brown ale, leaning more toward the caramel end of the spectrum. The roasted character is mild and complimentary. The hop character is low, with medium, smooth bitterness.

(20 oz cask draw at the brewery last Saturday... review copied from notes and expanded upon)
clear, dark-tawny liquid... smells fantastic, tastes even better... molasses cookie, medium caramel, herbal-earthy hops; chestnut nutty
what else I recall: from the first sip, its depth and dimension is apparent... maybe it's the magic of the cask pour, but the subtlties of the malt and yeast interplay were more vivid... one of the best and most characterful English browns I've had; another one where I wish they had cans in stock for takeaway, ugh (2293)
