Pours a mostly clear gold color with minimal white head.
The aroma brings faint notes of grass, funk, and tangerines.
The flavor is absolutely nothing like the aroma. It's overly sweet, and honestly tastes like ginger beer. There's a weird aftertaste of spearmint. Not pleasant.
The feel is light bodied with moderately high carbonation. About right for the style. Not particularly dry.
Overall, a pretty poor farmhouse ale. I believe this is Battery Steele's first crack at the style, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. But I'm not impressed by this offering. Hopefully they can refine the style in the future.
