A:
Pours a crazily cloudy milky blonde with a couple fingers of short-lived, airy head. Meh retention; faint scummy lacing. (3.75)
S:
Wow. Mango, guava, citrus, papaya, some very lightly roasty malt in the background. (4.5)
T:
Similar to the smell. Lots of fruit, but orange pith bitterness and a touch of pine take over from the more tropical fruits in the nose. (4.25)
M:
Semi-creamy body with a touch of hop burn, medium carbonation and a hop shellac finish. (4)
O:
A very nice NEIPA.
It pours turbid as could be with a little ivory head that disappears pretty quickly. The aroma is present at arm's length outside upon opening to can. Ripe tropical fruit-citrus melange. The flavor is similar but with mainly citrus oil and hop sap flavors up front and the sweeter, fruitier flavors behind.
I have never had or heard of this brewery before receiving this beer and now I am definitely curious to try more. This is a very tasty beer that I'd gladly sample again if I had the chance. Thanks, J Dilla! (4.25)

Bought as part of a mix batt Steele four pack in Tremont on my way to MDI. I don’t know what the hop is as part of this review. Thought that would be fun. (Edit - this wasn’t a single hop brew after looking it up). Has this kind of cool murky depth in my oversized 24 oz mug. Like a brown core inside this haziest or yellow bodies. Looks almost like a sundae. The hops have an almost stone fruit pit bitterness along with rich, almost overripe mango. Heavy on the palette - nice but I’ll look forward to seeing what the hop is once I get off the island.

Pint on draft in a shaker at the GLB.
Appearance: What the hell is this. It looks like mango juice. What the heck? Looks like something from Gray’s Papaya.
Aroma: Also kind of smells like mango juice. Also grapefruit, maybe peach. Hops! Good stuff.
Taste: Grapefruit, (Gray’s?) papaya, lemon, tropical fruits, kiwi, pine, hops. Nice tropical IPA.
Mouthfeel: Prickly and IPAish. What you’d expect from style.
Overall: A kickass IPA in a town full of same. Nice addition to the landscape! Really look like a heavy fruit juice, too.

16oz can dated 11/10/18.
Pours murky gold with a short-lived head of white. Minimal retention or lacing. Candied orange with grapefruit and pineapple in the nose. Medium bodied with a creamy, chalky mouthfeel. Pithy citrus on the palate with zero malt and a firm, drying bitterness. Grapefruit, orange, and pine. Finishes with plenty of resinous, tongue-numbing hops.
