I tried this on tap at Vegetable Hunter served chilled in a glass.
The color is black with opaque clarity and small tan head.
The smell is mostly roast with a slight hop smell which is pine-like.
The feel and flavor are a mix of roast with acrid almost char-like character and hop bitterness and taste which is more earthy and leaves a bitter finish with lingering hops on the palate.
This is straddling the line between black IPA/American stout but has so much malt roastiness it fits the style well.
