750ml corked and capped bottle into a Tree House teku.
Pours a coca cola color. Big, 4 finger foamy head. Thick lace. Thin legs. Nose is bark, grape skin, and toasted oak. Roasted and smoked seed with a very mellow funkiness. Super mellow. Beer opens lightly tart. Anise, herbal, tannic, fresh plum. Prune juice in the middle. Coarse. Light tartness. Dry oak on the finish. Slight bit of wax. Body is light, aggressive, carbonated. Messy finish with a lingering aftertaste.
Decent if a bit strange.
