16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy deep orange/amber/light copper color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tangerine, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, passionfruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, grapefruit, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, caramel, spicy rye, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, fruity yeast, and moderate dark/rye/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, passionfruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, grapefruit, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, caramel, spicy rye, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/citrus peel/grassy bitterness and rye spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, peach, pear, apricot, pineapple, passionfruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berry, grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, light pepper/pine, caramel, spicy rye, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, fruity yeast, and moderate dark/rye/bready flavors; with a great malt/bitterness and rye spiciness balance,;with zero astringent hop/rye flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and slightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is a delicious rye DIPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and moderate dark/rye/bready flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Extremely juicy and lightly dank hops; balanced malts without feeling overly sweet/heavy. Great Mosaic, Simcoe, and Citra hop showcase; along with the Vermont yeast. A very enjoyable offering.

Pine and spicy rye on the aroma, the beer pours a (mostly) clear reddish-amber with a dusting of off white head. There are some floating bits in this beer, and even more if you don't pour carefully from the can. Clean pine and citrus hop notes with a touch of rye and a bit of caramel backbone. Slightly slick mouthfeel, and a moderate body. A nice solid Rye IPA.
