The AVB for this beer is 6.6%. Served on-tap in a standard pint glass. This beer is a somewhat clear and somewhat hazy, dark golden color with a white head that's about half an inch thick when first poured. Settles to a fairly thick ring lining the inside of the glass with some spots of surface foam and good lacing. Aromas of toasted bready, malts with a touch of caramel sweetness that's followed by citrus, pineapple, and earthy hops. The taste is pretty much the same, with some bready, slightly toasted, caramel malts that give way to big citrus, especially pineapple, and earthy hops that lends a nice bitterness. Also a hint of raspberry. Has a crisp, yet smooth, medium to full bodies mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and a somewhat dry, clean finish. The hop flavors linger nicely in the aftertaste.
