Solidly glossy black with a convex mocha souffle foam that remains a fairly persistent head.
Nearly as ostentatious as Mikerphone's maple bombs, yet, thankfully, much less cloying and sticky. Now, it's still a bit of a sticky maple showcase with Jemima and maple candy overtones, but it has a smooth round body with a soft but fleeting froth delivering a relative balance of other aspects. These aspects include a good chocolatey, toasted roast, a measured contribution from the cinnamon, and a soft bready underbody that all help guide this to French toast territory.
