Having this beer on tap at the brewery. Served in a snifter glass, this beer draws a mainly cloudy/hazy medium golden color. Not much of a head at all, even when first drawn and served. Also no lacing at all to speak of. Aromas of some bready malts, dill pickle vinegar along with some yeasty esters and some peppery spice. A very similar flavor profile, with some bready malts, dill pickle vinegar sourness, some funky and yeasty notes, and black pepper spice and green chili pepper spice as well. A unique, and to me delicious, flavor profile. The spicy heat from what I can only imagine must be chili peppers of some sort does slightly dominate the flavor profile, but all of the other flavors are also nicely and noticeably present. Has a crisp, auto smooth, medium to full bodied mouth feel with moderate carbonation. All of the flavors, and especially the chili spice, linger on my palate very nicely for quite a while after each sip. Glad I tried this unique beer.
