Nice golden amber hue with some spice and fruit hints. Really enjoyable on the back deck on a Summer day, but can also be a cold weather treat. The Oak & Iron L'inspecteur is one of my favorite Saisons, and while I favor IPAs, I always make sure to start off with this smooth and flavorful beer almost as if a ritual, before getting into the other selections, and then make sure to take home a four pack or two. It's a great way to start out an afternoon/evening at the brewery.
