A blond beer made with barley spelt and rye, and fermented with the ‘Philly Sour’ yeast strain in stainless steel, then aged for a year in separate Pinot Noir barrels from Burgundy, one of which also still contained wine lees. In collaboration with Nanobrasserie x Colleen Rakowski.

Appearing as a sort of smudged gold with no head, I'm already a little concerned.
And that is confirmed on the palate, which is almost still, aside from a tiny tingle, while the texture is, hmm, oily(?)... though not viscous.
The flavor profile combines some stonefruit, apple and grapefruit with a little gassy gueuze and buttery toast.
Thankfully the acetic smell it has doesn't transfer to the palate, but that doesn't make it any less of a failure.
