On tap at brewery:
An obviously clear (from the edges), but dark brown beer that prevents light at the thicker parts of its body. An off-white to light beige head falls to a medium thick collar, but there is no lacing.
Nose is very light roasted malt with a slightly floral note mixed in. Not too strong, but there's an impression of a mildly sweet beer.
The roast d malts are in play, but they're just part of a mix. A malty more than sweet opening has a berry tang that could be the yeast that gains my attention a little more than the roast. I can see certain fruity coffees (that I don't generally buy) in this. A little cola aspect in back, there's a fairly clean but ever so slightly yeasty ending to this beer.
Maybe just a tad too watery in the middle, it's lightness is overall nice. Could use just a bit more roast or less of what I perceive as fruity yeast to really hit the spot for me.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
