On tap at brewery:
A bit of a hazy dark amber with a nice head and associated lacing. Plastic COVID cup harder to get a good nose from, but there is a wet malt lean to the citrus peel, light toast and floral notes.
A little light, but that’s nice for an APA. Initially sips were a bit bitter, but after palate adjustment, it’s more in line with the style. Toast, wet grain drive things a bit more than expected, but a citrus rind and grain husk bitterness follow. Lingering taste is citrusy with a lingering orange zest and light pine bitterness.
The term “fairly decent” just keeps coming to mind.
Revisit 5/2021:
Just read this version is a near, if not entirely, locally sourced brew. That itself doesn’t change much of my review, but this version has a little more bitter punch in back than my initial review. That said, it’s also cleaner than my initial review, boosting my enjoyment.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
