A delicious German style with lots of wheat for body--this Hefeweizen smells like banana and clove due to the German ale yeast strain and warm fermentation temperature. Even without adding fruit, there has never been a better banana beer!

16 ounce draft pour into a shaker pint at the brewery.
L: Hazy yellow-orange, one finger creamy white head, foam has great retention.
S: Banana and clove yeast esters, orange citrus.
T: Good weizen yeast flavor, banana forward, some light orange hops, not overdone or contrived.
F: Medium body, moderate carbonation, chalky feel.
O: Good and representative Hefe.
