6oz. pour served in a tulip. Color is a milky orange with a hazy clarity and no head; just a tight band around the shoulders. Great nose on this beer - sweet citrus and tropical fruit (mango and maybe pineapple). Taste is a little ashy, followed by some orange, pith and medicinal notes at the finish. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body (closer to light) with a mild carbonation and a little texture most likely attributable to the spelt. Overall, a solid IPA but missing the big citrus explosion characteristic of the NEIPA style.
