16oz. can served in a Spiegelau tulip. Pours a dull, burnt orange hue with a murky clarity and a creamy, 1/8th inch head the quickly disperses and coalesces towards the shoulders leaving an oily slick across the surface. Big notes of tropical fruit off the can pop (think mango and guava) followed by orange and pith. Taste initially expresses a medicinal/chemically character that's a touch off-putting, followed by dull citrus and pith. The chemically quality also comes out at the finish and lightly lingers as it dissipates between quaffs. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with a carbonation shy of lively, a light oiliness to the texture and a kiss of acidity. All and all, not bad, but the chemical quality doesn't work for me. Hope it's an anomaly.
