Pours one shade shy of black. No head on this beer, but a tight, off-white band of foam around the bowl of the glass. Nose expresses cocoa and hazelnuts. Taste reveals dark chocolate, roast and some char. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body (closer to medium) with a crispness to the carbonation. Overall, a sold stout. More char forward which keeps the flavor profile even; however, not much of the adjuncts pop out.
