Whiteish, milkshake colored straw-gold. Small, but lasting, head. Good chunky, thick streaks for lace.
Dry nose with an almost ashen note. I get a bit of burnt cigar smell.
The flavor starts off with the palest of grains on the tongue. There are no residual sugars I can pick up. The body leans rich while the carbonation is also elevated. The bitterness isn’t very strong but it does enhance the astringency. I get a long but subtle aftertaste. Overall, it’s drinkable but rather straight forward with mostly ashen flavors.

16oz can, snifter glass. Golden yellow body, pulpy look to it, one finger white head. Piney, bready, fairly dry and resinous. As This has more of a standard west coaster despite the haze. The brewery's hoppy offerings are more in the pine and herbal realm rather than that of the juicy and citrusy.
