Served on draft at Julian’s in Providence. The establishment listed the serving as a pint but I have a hard time believing it. Arrived in a tulip glass. Looks much like a Guinness (I think it’s nitro).
Arrives pitch black with a whitish, light tan colored head. Beautiful appearance with a full finger of foam. Lacing down the glass as well.
Aroma is roasty and grainy. Some alkalinity. Great flavor as well. Slight roast with a bug bready, toasty flavor similar to fresh baked bread.
Light bodied and easy to drink. A nice beer on a warm day.
