Amber to deep brown with a big, yeasty, cloudiness, a little carbonation, and topped with 3 fingers of yellowish head.
Smells really malty, of creme brulee, and hints of melon fruitiness.
Tastes very malt forward, with hints of hard water, toffee, and a big, dull, bitter hop finish.
Light body, dry and crisp, with a little carbonation.
Got in Perth, Australia, drinking in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Nov. 3rd, 2017. Really tastes more like an English rather than American style.

Strong in alcohol which is good, the taste is brilliant and the look reminds me of a traditional beer

A bottle conditioned ale that has an appealing reddish hue and rich aromas of tropical fruit esters and a hint of citrus. On the palate, this limited edition brew has a smooth malty taste with a balanced, warming finish.

Not a bad beer, but nothing special. It's one of the smoother, more easy drinking of the Coopers line. Aroma is of tree bark and malt. Flavor picks up a little of the malt, hops are there, but not in a big way. I really have a hard time seeing this as any kind of a hoppy beer. Unless you compare it to beers that don't have any hops in them at all. Body/carbonation are ok. Finish is a bit long on the bittersweet side. Otherwise - meh.

The copper colored beer is poured out into an ordinary water glass with a 1" white head that leaves only a bit of lacing on the sides as it recedes.
The aromas include some toasted malt, a bit of spicy herbal hops.
The flavors are much as expected from the nose with some nice malty sweetness and the spicy herbal hops.
The mouth feel is on the light side of medium bodied and prickly from the fairly high carbonation that persists well.
On the whole, it was interesting to try this beer but I think it is mis-categorized as an APA. Seems a more an English Pale Ale. This is not a beer I'll be missing after I leave Australia to go back to the States.

A: Pours a cloudy dark amber color with a billowy head that fades slowly to good lacing.
S: Aroma of roasted malt, spice, bit of grain and nuttiness.
T: Taste of roasted malt, caramel, with some nut and grain. Mild bitterness and a clean finish.
F: fairly light body, smooth but a bit bland.
O: Decent drinker, but I was hoping for something a bit more robust being a celebration ale.
