Had on tap. Somewhat murky dark golden body with two fingers of white foam and thick spotted lacing on the glass. Gin, oak, and wild yeast carry the nose with light brett, lemon, and white grape. Taste starts with the lemon zest, oak and gin before a wave of white grape, flowers, honey, and pear wash in, then receding to reveal barrel funk/brett, hay and light minerals to round out the sip. Feel is bright, wet but finishes dry, playfully tart and funky, and has higher carbonation for AT saisons. They do great work with those gin barrels

Ale fermented in gin barrels. Granny Smith Apples, honey, orange blossom and a hint of funk. Very light and crisp. Prickly carbonation. Lower sweetness level. Super short, semi dry finish. Not getting any gin flavors. Refreshing, yet could use a bigger burst of flavor.

500 mL bottle.
Adds a subtle dry herbal flavor, drier crisper finish than base, white grape, straw. Love the usage of this type of barrel with balance to allow the base saison to still shine through.
