Somewhat cloudy yellow body with two fingers of white foam. Smells at first of bitter botanical hops, but then big barrel funk and wild yeast settle in. Taste stars barrel funk, hay and wild yeast, with supporting mildly sour lemon and lime. Feel is playfully sour but dries out as yeast takes over. Pretty nice, fits the series as the base beer, reminiscent of a new world orval
