Slightly hazed pale golden orange, minimal foam, looks still.
Lemon lime zest and very minor Brett cheese rind.
Tart citrus, fruit forward with a dry oaky finish.
Sauv Blanc as advertised, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Light bodied and a little thin, nice tropical pucker though.
Overall this is directly in the Afterthought wheelhouse, straightforward and a little one-dimensional though the style craves more complexity.

Wow I was completely blown away by this one. Pour hazy yellow with tons of champagne like foam. Smell is grounded in the wine barrel character with juicy grapefruit, meyer lemon, and peach playing off it with some hay, saison funk, belgian yeast, slight honey, and rose. Taste takes it another step further, adding in vanilla and lime to the juicy fruit, giving the foretaste a sweet fruit nectar, then mixing with the rest of the ingredients beautifully and cleanly. Add in some breadiness to balance in taste and feel. Feel is effervescent, hazy, cooly juicy, and extremely bright. This was creative, refreshing, and delicious.
