A pumpkin ale in a slightly sour saison. Pumpkin has a sweettart funkiness to it, with barnyard funk, apple, orange, baking spices, significant belgian yeast, a touch of brett and oak in the taste. Smell is musky, with spices, basement funk, lemon zest, oak, and bready brett. Taste and smell are strikingly different experiences, but both rewarding. Feel is unlike anything I have had before, too lager like for a saison, but too sour and light for a pumpkin ale, and yet I am drawn to it, it dances off the tongue. Indeed, good for fall
